Handcuff Pool

Last night we had a handcuff pool tournament. For those of you that don't know, you are handcuffed to your partner while you shoot. It was really crazy, with it all coming down to Curt and Brian (who i named my dog after) versus Phil and Brenda.

It was nuts, with various body parts exposed to hinder ones concentration, and verbal B-slaps all around. All in all a great time!

The Best Shoes Ever

I have had these shoes for 3 years. I had a black day when i decided to retire them. Yeah I know they were still good, but sometimes you just have to let go...

So, my Tuesday night pool team dropped out of first place.

Yeah I know, but we had a "bye", which is why. We play the team that took over first place this next Tuesday, so we shall see.

It's too cold out to get very excited about pool anyway. Temps are like January right now and my brain is pretty frozen.

Oh well, time to drink i guess : )

I like to try to make money online. No i never make the thousands per month like the spammers tell you is possible. however i do make a little here and there mostly for fun.

One place i have been doing is called Hits For Pay. they send you an email every few days and you look at a few ads for 45 seconds or so and you get two cents. Yeah i know this isn't a get rich quick scheme, but it doesn't take too much time and is kinda fun to see your account grow.

Biden: Obama’s inexperience will prompt nations to test us

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Alumni House Beloit's Rockin Karaoke Bar

With a history that goes back to 1941, The Alumni House has been in business continuously in one fashion or another ever since.

My wife Teresa and me have owned it since 1992, you know what they say about old cars and old bars, They don't go away, they just get new owners.

We have pretty much evolved into a pool shooting karaoke bar. If you like to shoot pool (all our tables are still 50 cents), and maybe sing to boot, this is the place for you.
