Milwaukee
So,
They sent me to Milwaukee, well West Allis really. We are opening a new store' and I am a corporate trainer.
The crew is the thrust of this entry.
Mickey works at a couple of strip joints, and is an interesting guy. He lasted about a week and was let go.
Jeremy is a single dad. He started out as a delivery person, but has developed into a prep cook, and sandwich line employee. He has a tremendous attitude and is a real asset to the staff.
Mike just spent over a year in Indiana beating leukemia. Another tremendous guy with a fantastic attitude and ethic. He's just happy to be healthy, and has a very positive outlook on life.
Shelly works at another pizza joint. She is a good worker and person, but was layed off after a week.
Brittany worked at Toppers Pizza. Daypart manager, she is competent and thorough. Her background at Toppers serves her well in her role as a leader.
Chris, works 2 jobs and is studying to be a locksmith. I don't know where he gets his energy.
Ricky works at a factory, and is our skilled driver.
Sean, was let go.
Tim, 30 year old in a 17 year old's body. great kid.
Chris, is the day prep-per, and cook. Another single dad and a good kid.
An interesting store located in a space attached to a Citgo gas station and convenience store.
After working with these "kids' I find I have made a few good friends and acquaintances.

2nd some times IS good enough
Not really, but I am still really proud of our pool team. We finished second in the city in 2011. That's the best we have ever done.

We Win The City

ahhhh, such sweet satisfaction. we have been in the "summer" pool league in Beloit for several years and never won the darn thing.
this year all that changed...
we played the "moody blue", kind of a sister bar that we have always gotten along with well.
they didnt take the win very well...
take a good look at the lady in red...
